Kantar Analytics brings together clever, curious and creative people with world-class technology and commercial expertise. We’re one of the biggest teams within Kantar Insights - there’s around 100 of us based in the UK, and we’re part of a bigger team of over 1,000 people across the globe.

With a name like Analytics, you might assume our team is made up of maths and technology whizzes. And while some of us come from strong technical backgrounds, we welcome anyone who has a creative spark and wants to tell stories grounded in robust evidence. To achieve our goals, the three pillars of Analytics work proactively and collaboratively to provide world-beating service to our clients, whatever their needs might be.Here’s a little more about what we do in the different teams that make up Analytics:

Our digital team is two halves of a whole. Our Digital Analytics (Dx) consultants use data to provide expert advice. Whether it’s publicly available data like search, social conversations, or eCommerce reviews, or internal data drawn from media platforms and online analytics systems, the Dx team gather insights to identify trends and patterns. The team then translates this into robust strategies, while measuring and optimising performance across our clients’ digital ecosystem.

Meanwhile, our Digital Content authors craft digital content strategies on behalf of brands, taking the data we have and creating powerful online experiences for consumers. The Digital Content team enables brands to be seen online, by optimising search, social and eCommerce supporting them along the way to stand out in the ever-changing online landscape. 

This team combines the best of two skills sets. Our ROI (Return on Investment) team helps our clients make the most of marketing opportunities, guiding them on how to allocate budgets to best drive sales or brand success, and pinpointing the best advertising channels to increase growth - whether that’s TV, outdoor, digital, or something else.

Our Segmentation team is all about spotting where growth opportunities are. They understand how to identify consumer needs and discover new audiences that offer brands new ways to engage with their customers. 

A common client problem is navigating the maze of data they have available to them and utilise it to inform business decisions – the Data Strategy and Engineering team give them the compass to make sense of it all. Our Data Strategy and Engineering team pride themselves on their insightful and intelligent analysis of complex client data sets. Data from a range of sources is combined with  market-leading technology and analytics powered by cutting edge artificial intelligence and  machine learning solutions, to uncover invaluable insights. They are brought together into bespoke, user-friendly dashboards or storytelling decks that clients can use to steer their decision making.
