What does being a Digital apprentice at Kantar involve?
The Digital Experience team works on different projects with brands like Unilever, Philips and Pfizer and we help those companies understand people better through digital data.
As I work on different projects, I have various of daily tasks. Sometimes I have to update a dashboard using juptyer (python) and google data studio which gets used by my wider team. Other times I use dashboards to make PowerPoint presentations which my wider team presents in meetings to other clients. Sometimes I will need to use excel to categorize data or clean up data to use.
Describe your experience working for Kantar.
From the day I started my apprenticeship with Kantar, the on-going support I have received is immense. From IT to my line manager and colleagues, everyone has been there to support me, not just with my work, but with becoming familiar with Kantar resources and how the team works together.
Before Kantar I worked in Dominos, Heathrow Airport and other retail jobs. Kantar has been my first corporate job. The transition has been smooth, as Kantar has helped me developed the skills that are needed for my role, helping me to settle in well.
What’s cool about where you work?
There is a Mexican place right opposite the London office which is my go-to lunch. The burrito bowl is my favourite, and the staff now recognises me as the burrito bowl girl!
What have you learned since joining the team?
